GTF
Alright. Gonna build me a street bike and wanna use the Sun Ringle Lawhill rear hub, but Im unsure if it will fit into a Kona Cowan (or any other frame with 10mm dropouts, cause the hub is 12mm).Can someone give me an answer to this?HERE IS THE HUB
eskimo
Pretty sure it will fit. It's just the internal part of the axle is 12mm for strength.
dave85
Unless you get a through axle machined up with a 12mm centre and 10mm ends (which is perfectly possible by the way), it won't work with your frame.

Tony Harrison
Why this hub? What made you choose it?Wouldn't a secondhand King or Hope Trial hub be a better option?
RobinJI
Nah, it wouldn't go in a 10mm dropout, but it is just a 12mm axle version of the Abbah SOS, which I'm running on my freeride bike and its an awesome hub, tough as hell and sooo nice sounding. If you look at the 2 hubs you can see that there viruualy identical other than the axle size. Go for one, there well worth the 80 quid Linky to Abbah SOS on CRC

RobinJI
I'm running the 10. Works perfectly. I'm not sure how they would be for trials really, hard to tell with a 36t ring and 6" of travel. haha. But they have 36eps and apparently they normally outlast bulbs for trials. Wouldn't know myself though. But for a jump/DH/freeride bike I'd recommend them any day!
GTF
If they outlast bulbs they're good. Ive had my bulb for a while now, and no problems.
