Tim-Hill..Yeah Mate

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I in a few weeks im upgrading to rear freehub (profile) realised im going to have to buy a 36 spoke rim so need some advice on whats best/strongest etc etc.

scrolling through tarty saw the revell 19" rims, never seem them before and wondered what there like? anyone?

got the onza hog rim in mind, a friends seem pretty tough and durable. not buying a tryall rim though a mate (gr8grumble on forum) has had about 20+ dents and a 4"crack so bad choice!

any other 19" 36 spoke rims on the market which are decent?

before anyone says...ive used the search couldnt find nout about the subject!

Tim.

Kris Holm rims are pretty strong.

I've had mine for ages now. It's had a few big dents in it, which I bent back. It's had a few grinds too.

No flat spots or anything. (Y)

Yeah, there meant to be pretty decent. Same construction as a try-all I think, just made from a much stronger alloy, rather than the try-all cheese. Have a look at unicycle shops for them. (Y)
