everything from koxx and try all it´s shit.

the Koxx top model parts:

koxx forks: just an poor tubes welded.

koxx crankset: 6061 forged.

koxx FW: loose balls inside and not cnc machined.

Echo top model parts:

Echo forks:cnc machined crown for more strenght and rigidity and steerer with 8mm tickeness.

Echo crankset: 7075 precision machined cnc for strenght.

Echo FW: sealed bearing, steel heat treated chrome machined cnc. 2mm at right for better chainring line.

Echo frames it´s stronger than Koxx.

So it´s proved, Echo it´s better and cost less than koxx.

a tensile freewheel is what you want, koxx went over board with their frewheels and tried to cram too much in, i think they just wanted to say "our freewheels have the most engagement points" whopeeee lol. I have heard of too many failing and wouldnt trust one. My tensile hasnt skipped once (touch wood) and still runs as smooth as the day i got it, it's been throught seat water, sand, mud etc etc and still runs spot on. -Hugh

each to their own opinion, not used a Try-All FFW, or an Echo, but for someone like captain "ronnytrials" who may have not used any koxx parts or any echo parts it is a "pre" judgemental comment.

put it this way, there is a few people in this thread who havent had any probs with theirs, comparing someone like vincent to anyone here, hes much more powerful and i dont think there is anyone on here who could exert that sort of force on a freewheel.

the moral of the story is, dont critisize something you have not tried yourself!!!! im a Hope fan through and through. but iv learnt from past "advice" threads you cant critisize something you havent tried, or you just get bullshit thrown at you.

People will use which ever parts they want, Try-All/Koxx are a large company they aint going to be "shut" down or go bust over night just because of a couple of kids on an internet forum. look at the "team" selection of koxx/Monty to Echo/Zoo etc, totally different kettle of fish. :)(Y)

your big post

Waynio.......................

wayne i find the easiest way is to stay out of threads that include companies who sponsor you....i find it with deng topics asking for advice on them, because the inevitable reply is "yer but your sponsored by dem innit"

so basically people thing, purely because deng sponsors me i will just bum his products. NOT SO. i tell deng if i dont like something, and if someone asks me, i honestly give my best and most honest view, but only on components i use.

for some reason it seems that people wont accept my opinion on deng products, thinking that i will lie to them because dengo sponsors me.

hey im just saying, id stand by hope all day long.

im just giving people the idea that the posts in this thread "half" of them are critisism from people who havent used the product. weather its tensile/koxx/try-all/echo/zoo/gu it doesnt matter. you cant give an opinion on something you know shit about.

lucky for me i pick and choose my product as i have had experience with alot of products therefore pick the best product for my personal bike.

Of course you can give an opinion on something you know nothing about! that's what the problem is!!!

Ben's right, a sponsored rider won't do their company any favours by saying how good a product is, simply because they are sponsored, people see them as being bias. If however, your getting stuff from your sponsor and really demonstrating how it can be used as ben does in videos that probobly amount's to more sales than anything he has to say....

but yeh, brazil boy is talking out his arse in this instance, I don't care if he has or hasn't had experiance of both the companies he mentioned, he isn't making a fair comparison at all.

A little birdie or two have let on to me that they go through the try-all freewheels at the rate of one every 3 weeks upto now.

They won't be telling you much more now! haha Any hints as to whom it may be?

Does TRA run 108.9 freewheels?

ahahaha!!! echo and koxx are built for totally differant markets what are you talking about!?

I think he was mostly reffering to the quality of materials used and the quality of manufacture. Although the frame strenght point I don't think counts as Koxx frames are much lighter.

that's funny.

edit: is that at least 6 broken teeth I see?

I can see at least 11, what happened to it? Biiiiiiiiiiiig skip?

king for the win

Aii ben, havent seen you or prowler boy in a while!!!! shame there werent a demo at the start of the SSDT again :(

everyone can comment on everything, its just how a product is marketed that counts. like this has got "X" amount of this weighs "Y" amount. or this is neigh long or yeigh short.

things break/things are strong, put up with it, if not, the sooner you get over it the better :P

i was put off at one point using koxx forx and koxx rims before i got sponsored by them as i was told "they were made from cheese" the rims and the forks "snapped after 2 weeks" the internet eh. my forks lasted 12months and iv only forked 1 rim @ the SSDT demo doing that big Y'ass drop.

Dont believe everything you hear

erm what? so is there even more divisions in trials. koxx vs deng. samish geo. similar weight, echo tend to be stronger and cheaper. but both serve EXACTLY the same purpose.

anyway, enos seem to be the best front freewheel. although my friend lee broke his. just stopped engaging then locked up :S

I dunno about that, i've never used a dica freewheel, but we all know they should never see a trials crank.

I've heard enough stories about try-all freewheels to tell others they arn't so good, even though i've never even ridden one. I could go out and buy one and it could last me 10 years, i'd still tell people not to buy one.

Anyway, to the original poster of this topic, what i would have done would have been to send your old freewheel back to the main importer of ENO freewheels, then get a qoute to see how much i'd cost to have it all re-done. The pawls were eplaced in mine, new seals and new lockring for £15 inc postage back to me. :turned:

As for the colours on eno's, they kinda vary a bit, i think the 32ep eno came in to colours. So i wouldn't go buy the colour.
