Dan6061
Had my bag stolen in Oxford yesturday, which is highly annoying, becuase it had my camera in it (Fuji S9600, 4GB CF card, Fisheye lens) Reported it to the Police.Mum rang up the home insurance this morning, to see if it was covered, but they said no. It'd need another policie thing for it to be covered, as it wasn't at home when it was stolen. What i'm wondering, is would it be worth bending the truth a..lot, and saying it was taken from my garage, whilst I was in Oxford? - Something like that? Then just say I haven't got a crime ref' number, or haven't reported it yet?Do they properly check these things? I just want my camera back.
tipsy Jock
When your mum called previously they would have recorded and tracked that call, unless they are ridiculously stupid i'd reckon they will catch on. (I tend to do a fair amount of phone work in my job and we would spot that)You could try but what your doing is technically fraud. Worth the risk? Bad luck though dude.Pete Edited April 13, 2007 by tipsy Jock
