it only clicks when my left foot is forward when i apply pressure,

im sure its not the freewheel.

there was some play a little while ago but there isnt now.

the crank bolts are tight

i thought the bb might be loose so it could be the cups.

as i havnt got a bb tool looks like i will have to get bike shop too look at it lol. well at least they like me in autoparts(well they like thutley so i will go in with him )

Most likely your cups are a bit loose. Just get the BB tool and tighten them up. You can also put some blue loctite on them to prevent them from getting loose too fast.

i will just get autoparts to do it for me, they wont take a few minutes to do it if its just the cups (providing the drive arm doesnt try and be a bast**d to get off lol, it likes getting stuck :D)

well thanks for the comments they have given me a clearer view of my "click problem"

i should now be able to sort it, cheerz!!
