Bigman
Right, in my A4 i have the audi concert radio which has the fault where when you adjust the volume it either goes maximum or minimum, because of this i am after a new radio.New radio must be able to work with my sony CD changer as i do not want to get rid of that and i cannot realy afford anything more than £50 - 70 which i know is not a great deal but it is all i can afford at the moment. So what would you recomend?ThanksAdam
on that? u must be joking
for that sort of money it's probably not a bad idea to just get yourself on Ebay and get a direct replacement. In an exec car like an A4 it's nice to keep the thing looking OEM anyway in my viewAndy
trials_pimp
I agree.Newer cars alos run the risk of engine management problems when changing the stereos.Keep it OEM
Bigman
As much as i would like to keep it OEM i don't want to put in a new audi radio which in time will get the same problem with the volume as the current one i have.So if there are any decent stereo's that will work with my CD changer and ideal have an aux in in my price range it would be awsome.Adam
Prawny Baby
odd that you have a sony changer adam..... audi OEM changes are panasonic i believe.....personally matey, id get yourself another concert radio on ebay. i know reconditioned ones which are sold as having a new volume control thingybob go for around £80.mY concert is the original unit in my car on 136k and its fine, mums concert is on 190k and its also fine...... get a standard new one and itll last as long as you have the car im sure!also, your unlikely to find one with an aux input as well as the CD changer control in your price range, which means you ideally want a tape setup to go with your crazy in car handsfree bodge remember if you go aftermarket, you will need to get the facia plates to bring the slot down to standard DIN size. theyre also on ebay, pretty cheap. nmt_oli
remember if you go aftermarket, you will need to get the facia plates to bring the slot down to standard DIN size. theyre also on ebay, pretty cheap. And a wirign harness too, while audi use ISO size plugs, the wires arent in the right places, so funny things can happen when you just plug an aftermarket stereo in.OEM is prob easier all round biggy.
