streetjibs Posted April 8, 2007 Report Share Posted April 8, 2007 hey guys ... gettin parts sorted for my new frame (koxx)lookin at either std stem (have both hope and thomson in shed) and buyin the EASTON CNT DH bar (225gms!!) but not sure bout how shape will suit trials. I ride mostly natty and usually run my bars angled back a fair bit with levers close to horizontal. OR>..Going for a setup with a o/s stem and the new tryall rage bar?? opinions???just a quicky.. any advice suggestions wud b great!tryin to save weight yet stil have a rideable bike;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ScotchDave Posted April 8, 2007 Report Share Posted April 8, 2007 In general I've found that most natural style riders prefer trials bars, however there's no harm in trying something new, and if you don't like them I'm sure there's a street rider who's be happy to take them off your hands. Ali C Posted April 8, 2007 Report Share Posted April 8, 2007 vittorio brumotti (expert world champion) uses those bars, I used to use eastons, they are not that bad a shape, plus you can get used to just about any shape if you use it for long enough.
