17t Sprocket

Recommended Posts

Hi all..! As some of you may be aware, its quite a challenge to find 17T shimano splined (ie not screw on) sprockets for anything under the £35 mark. For some reason 17 is highly uncommon and is proving difficult to find at a sensible price. Any ideas for a source anyone?

Thanks! :ermm:

Good quality, bang on £35.

Hope it helps.

Forgot to mention I had already scoured tartybikes / ebay and the CK ones and surely ones are all i can find at 17T.. I just cant justify the doubling in price simply to get that tooth count when 16T - 18T are available everywhere for around £16 !

check all the usual places, ive just looked on chainreaction for you and found nothing. how i used to get them was by buying a cheap cassette and ripping it to peices

Cheers Ash, that was the plan at first.. as I was thinking of chucking the 2 smaller cogs off my 8sp cassette and securing it back on.. The lockring however wont tighten onto anything but the last cog. Want to shed a bit of weight off the back end with new pro2. Still trying to get used my new 05 pitbull, big change from my planet x mk6 ghost!
