amoeba
Hi all..! As some of you may be aware, its quite a challenge to find 17T shimano splined (ie not screw on) sprockets for anything under the £35 mark. For some reason 17 is highly uncommon and is proving difficult to find at a sensible price. Any ideas for a source anyone? Thanks!

amoeba
http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=515Good quality, bang on £35.Hope it helps.Forgot to mention I had already scoured tartybikes / ebay and the CK ones and surely ones are all i can find at 17T.. I just cant justify the doubling in price simply to get that tooth count when 16T - 18T are available everywhere for around £16 !
Alley Rat
just get a 16 or 18 tooth then, whats the problem....and if you cant handle 18 teeth your a f**kin pussy.... Edited April 8, 2007 by Alley Rat

The lockring however wont tighten onto anything but the last cog. Want to shed a bit of weight off the back end with new pro2. Still trying to get used my new 05 pitbull, big change from my planet x mk6 ghost!
dozydame
i've had the same problem with my mod, i want to buy 13 tooth rear cog but its £8 more than a 12 tooth cog! i'm referring the onza cog to the surly cog. i don't know why the websites think just because its one or two teeth out of the ordinary, you have to pay double the price. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/category.php?id=
