Greetings
Really don't understand how this bike can be so light. It's got some really heavy parts in it. With a few mods you could bring it down to almost 9kgs which sounds impossible.

Mat Smith!
Weigh yourself and the bike, then yourself, and take your weight away from the first bit.Canne be right.Mat
loffa
I cant see what's so special about a bike that weighs a bit over 10kg? And grinding the fook out of your bashguard just to save 10 grams but still having a dual ply tire on the front and a dh tube on the rear.. sorry, but that doesn't make any sence to me.I know a guy who's BT weighs 9.7 kg and it has a 2,7 dual ply maxxis on the rear, undrilled rims, a 22t Middleburn bashguard and a fatty fork. I mean, yes, your bike is light compared to most bikes out there, my bike weighs approximately (sp?) 10,5kg (though I run dual disk and a rear mech), but still, it's nothing that special.. my old Zoo Boa was 9.5 kg.http://www.fintrial.com/pyora2.php
Davetrials
im gonna find sum more scales today, and triple check:Pi ground the bash down more for looks than anything, but things went wrong and i HAD to grind it down that thin so it would fit:(
huge
That scale is reading 24lbs im afraid, look at where the red and black lines line up (like reading a vernier calliper scale) closer to 11 kilos you will find

RobinJI
Find some digital scales. Or some fishing scales with a nice big readout. And if you're doing it on bathroom scales, then weigh yourself, then yourself + bike, and take away your weight. In my case:Me = 154lbMe + Bike = 179Me + Bike - Me = 25lbI think my bikes only 25lb because my tyres are light. haha. The frames steel, forks are steel (although still lighter than some deng models! Ha!), RaceFace Northshores, Seat!, Revolver + freewheel, undrilled rims... the list of heavy stuff goes on. Stan Shaw
Nice grinding Dave Spray it all white i think!Try and weigh it on digital fishing scales without anything touching it. My bike was 23.5 and its got some decent stuff on. Edited April 8, 2007 by cultiv8ed stan
Tomm
why oh why hasn't one brave man dared to "test" it before. That is actually the best thing you've ever said on here P.S. I bet my bike is lighter P.P.S. Get rid of that Kool chain, they weigh a ton.
