Smallville
I got some alloy bolts laying around. I allready use some for the rear maggie but can I use them for the front disc and the steam to? I mean alot of the parts on the caliper are made of aluminium and are not very thick. And the stem clamp is made of aluminium and are not very thick either. Will the bolts realy snap? Broomer
depends on the alloy.
ogre
you would get away with them on stems, but i wouldn't trust them on a disk tbo.

Waddy
i wouldent use them in your rear maggy either, i had some pro bolt ones from tarty and one snapped off whilst doing a tapp, i really dont think there up to the stress thats upon a rear brake, let alone a disc rotor! Stan Shaw
I would recommend using Ti bolts instead of alloy on things like the disc caliper/rotor, stem and magura 4 bolts. These parts are under a lot of stress and you don't want them snapping Using alloy bolts on low stress parts like top cap bolt, lever clamp bolts and bleed bolts is cool though Stan. Greetings
Well, unless your Davetrials, just use normal steel bolts.
