Walleee
I'd just get a fixed hub and an ENO. Job done.

Janson
or a King. Would be nice if the 07 ones lasted, nice to know there is a real alternative to a King. I dunno if I'll ever go back to anything else again. Sure my King was a right hassle the first few months with warranty this warranty that, but now it's settled down it's great. Not skipped in a year or something. Saying that, I rode the same ACS freewheel for about 2 years with it only skipping once or twice, ever. basher
If it's not the trials version, it's not 48 engagements..Was just about to say that. And when his hub breaks hope won't cover it on warrenty as its not made for trials.
26inch
The axles are also completly different. The trials has a larger diameter axle (about 14mm i think) to allow the funbolts to fit it. Your standard hub has a 10mm axle with a smaller hole so is no stronger. and you only have 24 engagements
dave85
You can just swap the axle end caps and use a QR in the trials hub.
will
Hope are a good company, I would be suprised if this business was not rectified. On the other hand ive had my King for 3 years? I can count the number of skips on one hand. Its had numerous rims on it and its been serviced once by Adam Read when I got it, and a few washes with wd40 from me. Fit and Forget. 190 second hand, works out to £1. 20 a week so far and thats always dropping.
Rusevelt
Does anyone on this forum own a Middleburn hub(specifically the titanium model), and if so what are they like? Was on the US forum last week and viewed a pic of a cracked hope stem. lucky, the bars were still held together by the 3 remaining bolts. Mark W
I'm almost certain someone either tried the Middleburn hub and it was a toss...
Tall_Rob
They upgraded my shell to the 2007 model the last time it went and it's holding so far.I've lost so much confidence when gapping though as i'm always expecting my chain to snap or the hub to go.I'm such a beast to destroy 3 in 7 months.Am pretty smooth though, i hate destroying and damaging my bike as i have to pay for it all Rob
spode@thinkbikes
For anyone who wanted a picture. Although it looks the same as most of them the ones I've seen.
