1337 Trials
Hiho. Are these products good? Im going to buy a new frame and go ISIS at the same time (Might aswell get it all done while I swap frames). Bottom Bracket: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=221 Cranks: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=156 (What size for a mod?) Freewheel:http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=398 Ps. Will it all fit a zona zip frame?? Thanks- ~Matty Edited April 4, 2007 by Matt-y
Steve H
Hey,Yes those cranks are very good, ive got them on my GU mod and they feel really nice - the 160's actually measure 163 roughly so they are an in between size which is great for short mods. (170's are too long I reckon). The BB im not sure about, length wise and the BB shell of a zona but if you are running FFW and possably a bash ring you might need a 127.5 mm BB axle. Thus giving extra clearance away from frame and a better chain line. No chain rubbing on chain stay ect.I put a Truvativ ISIS 127.5 mm BB, those echo 6061 forged cranks, Try-all FFW and echo bash and the chain line is perfect and it runs really smooth.Steve
harmertrials
Stop re-posting the same bloody topic! This is like your fourth topic about you going isis and the components you're considering getting, you could have just put this in one of the others! Then you moan I re-post and bring an old topic back Also about the bash ring I think I need a bash guard really also the mounts are on the zona zip so with just a bash I would probabley still hit the mounts??? ~Matty
Joe Aston
Im running a 127mm bb in my zona. Got a really nice chain line as well. Also for bash i would recommend the zona one its easy to fit. Just ring super cycles up they will sort you out. There all sound in there. Joe

tom 20
Those cranks want to be 170 mm isis, good choice of freewheel, and you could run a echo isis bb (£45 from tarty)
