Up'n'away Posted April 3, 2007 Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 HeyQuick question, after i took the pads out to replace them the silver pistons bits moves out and when i push one in the other pops out or if i equal them out the pads have a tiny gap not enough for the rotor.. Broomer Posted April 3, 2007 Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 just push them both back, use a screwdriver or something, just make sure you don't bur the edge of the piston where it meets the seel, if this fails it is most properly overfilled with oil, which i dought. Up'n'away Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 OK sorted, releived some pressure by letting out the tinest bit of oil, and that has squirted on the disk :@ .. Nick Garland Posted April 3, 2007 Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 All you had to do was force the pistons back as you are not meant to move them without a rotor and pads on as stated in the user manual. I have some dot 4 , but how do i bleed hope? I am geusing you put a pipe on the bottom end and top it up through the top bit?
