Posted April 6, 2007 Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 Mate with the collarbone the healed bone isnt going to look good, trust me, I broke both mine (and I can get a pic if you like) the bones look wrong.Still as strong as before (not very ) so dont worry about it. Tomm Posted April 6, 2007 Report Share Posted April 6, 2007 You will get a lump of new bone (a callus) forming around where you broke it. It's just the way it is and it's nothing to worry about. The other thing it could be is that you've dislocated the clavicle, and it kinda springs up. I've got a lump near my right shoulder (it's not the same as on the left) and it's because of this. It doesn't give me any problems at all though. If the lump is right above your shoulder, it could be this. No generally Burnleys not all that ruff, but around theres is and theres a few areas you wunt wana go really. Alot of areas are very nice in burnley like where i live, shame areas like where you went bring it down.YEY nearly a week now till wires come out cant wait. Got a new frame built up aswell cant wait till im ok to ride it will be like heaven. If i dent have a gf i dont think i could take it id be so board shitless. I managed to shatter my clavicle on a 4x track. Back on the bike tomorrow though, has been 7 long weeks woop woop! Get well soon guys! basher Posted April 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 Had the wires out today. I was expecting to have my arm numbed, but the doctor just walked in and started wiggling the wires. Then started to pull them out, it didn't hurt at all. I was discharged and not told i needed pyhsio so i guess thats good.
