Some of the tarty bike's ones look quite good, do you ride mod or stock?

What ever you do dont buy the origonal dmr chain tensioner, the bolts on it have rounded off, just the first time i put them on!

i havent over tightened them, this has happened to 3 of my other mates who also bought it!

so just some advice dont buy the orig dmr chain tensioner :D

i ride stock. I am running a king with fun bolts so it seems i am limited to what tensioners i can run due to the large bolts.so i basically need a tensioner i can bolt to my mech hanger.

thanks

The 74Kingz has great reviews, and it's pretty straightforward to build something similar yourself if you don't want to splash out.

Better than hanger mounted tensioners in the way that you can land on it without causing any problems such as snapped hangers, and nice and easy to set up too :)

Everyone will probably say to get a 74 kingz tensioner like they did on my topic a couple of days ago

But I got a Mr control and its brilliant - works absolutly fine for me.

I made my own mechhanger so I only had a few choices for ones that would fit

So personaly i would go for the Mr control as its cheap and does the job

Mr Control

Have a look

I got mine from ebay which was still brand new but I saved £3 =D

what did you use to make that, and also how ? explain.

You just need a peice of steel that is springy. Then you need a plastic piece to act as a chain guide.

I made the guide from a block of plastic with a dremel tool. Connect the metal to the guide and you

got a chain tensioner. The zip ties hold the tensioner to the frame.
