Strange Request...

Done a fair bit of Googling, but can't seem to find anywhere that offers a decent pillion motorcycle ride as one of those 'gift experience' thingies... I have found one which is a 3 hour tour of London on a Harley, but I was more thinking a few flat out track laps.

Anyone heard of anything like this, or know where I should be looking?

Any help appreciated!

Cheers

Adam

I've seen something like this with some former BSB riders, but i don't know if it was a bookable thing or just a limited promotional thing/raffle/competition prize. I'll have a google about.

Who's it for? There's a few good MX tryouts where you get to rag the shit out of 65/80/125/250 motocrossers on a track for either a half or full day, and you don't even need to know how to ride. It's bloody tiring though.

http://www.donington-park.co.uk/trackattack/premier/ - found that but i think you need to participate in the track day itself to go on the pillion ride. Could enquire about just doing the pillion ride or see if they have any alternatives.

Its a birthday present for my girlfriend, she can't ride a motorbike so the motocross one probably isn't ideal for her :P hehe.

Thanks for the heads up about that Donington one though, will give the a ring and see if they do the pillion ride separately (Y)!

Most people who go to the motocross thing don't know how to ride motorbikes anyway, its pretty good for new riders, and being a MX hack about day you dont need to worry about shifting with the clutch, thats only for stopping and starting :D

http://www.mxtryout.co.uk/ - that's the one i went to should you wish to send her off to get covered in mud!

I know that you can get pillion rides with Ron Haslam around Donnington as part of his race school, and they've got a sorta semi-GP bike that's been converted to a 2-seater so you can get scared the shit out of on it, but I don't know if it's a seperate thing. Might wanna try out the Haslam Race School though and see what they say?
