If they're only a month old, then surely it shouldn't be a case of getting a half price replacement. It should be a totally free set as it looks like a manufacturing defect for them to break that early in their life.

Alright mat, you should have riden worthing today, the trials demo was ace... sorry about the change in topic, please continue

you don't want raceface for trials

Got a reason? The old 5 arm ones are awesome for trials. And as mentioned, have a lifetime warentey for trials use on the northshore XS. And there only 50 quid. (Y)Link

Also no-one uses them for trials? Shrewsbery? Ashton?

i know there not, i also hav'nt heard of a raceface crank breaking, have you??

Go to Chain Reaction Cycles and read the review on the 209.99quid set of Raceface Diabolus it goes like this:

Anonymous from United Kingdom Owner 15 March 2005 22:54 I cant believe it, i thought i was getting a good quality peice of kit for all the money i forked out. They bent after a 7foot to flat, i had cheap bmx cranks that have happily took the abuse. Im just going to get bmx cranks in the future, i feel so ripped off.

Stop bumming raceface, they are over-marketed and over-rated.

im talking about the northshore or next LP, you wont get any problems with them

the new diabolous is rank and should be chucked in the bin though

Thanks for that, maybe next time you could point that out to us rather than making a vague but bold statement.
