C_T_C monty
Hello all,I think that its time for me to invest in a new freewheel, due to my one keeps locking and it just really old . I was just wondering which one to go for because most of the freewheels are made to go on the front but I prefer rear freewheels .Thanks, Charlie
AdamR28
Any freewheel 'designed' for the front will also work great on the rear. Its pretty much a case of choosing your budget and finding a freewheel that fits inside it - all the trials specific freewheels are very reliable and good value for money.Adam
kid creole
The try-all freewheel is OK on the back and it comes in 16 , 17 and 18 teeth and then you have acs claw which is cheap but not really designed for trials , you also have white industries which i use and i feel is the sturdiest out of these three Ive mentioned , there are others such as the Monty , echo and tensile but Ive never used them so cant give an opinion. C_T_C monty
Cheers for all the help, im looking at the try-all and the white industries freewheels, but im going to run a 18 tooth fixed sprocket on the front, so doesn't that mean i'll have to run a 12 tooth freewheel on the back??Charlie

C_T_C monty
haha, lol, thats why you don't see many 12 tooth free wheels about . Guess i'll have to save up my money and go for a profile hub Edited March 24, 2007 by C_T_C monty
