Brake Pads

Recommended Posts

It is all dependant on your set-up of your bike.

If you've got smooth rims then some standard or soft pads with a bit of tar will do.

If you've got a grind you need something a bit harder to stand up to the job.

I recommend Magura Kool Stops for a smooth rim if you are on a budget, they aint bad pads. £15 for 4 pads is pretty cheap as well (www.chainreactioncycles.com).

:o don't get kool stops...just pay the extra £3 and get some zoo! pads when they come in stock at tarty if your running a smooth rim. If your running a grind i've found koxx reds to be quite good, rock pads are fairly amazing and emmit a rather loud squeking noise. (Y)

first of all mate learn to spell correctly or use the spell checker. zoo pads are very good along with plazmatics. i would use zoo pads for a smooth rim and plazmatics for a grind.

cheers lou.

Say's you !. I have put your mistakes in Bold for you. So you learn how to punctuate first.

Zoo pads - Smooth rim.

Rock pad Blue's - Ground rim.

Now, now Danny. What happened to the exclamation mark after Zoo ?

Was there really any need to use a capital 'b' for blue?

Anyway, Plazmatic CRM's work well on a light grind, as do pads from the Heatsink range. www.heatsinkbikes.com
