liam-pantera
you can either cut the rubber down or neal on the bashguard to press it down
Muel
The zona zip bash fits the zona zip frame without any spacers, so the rubber is a different shape.Put the two bolts at the back in as far as, so that it can move about but the bolt has a good purchase on the thread, then worm the rubber in the gap and squash it down as much as possible, then secure it with a zip tie round the frame, you should be able to get the bolt in then tighten them all up and remove the zip tie. Dan6061
You need a Park Tool BB tool. One that fits onto a socket.I have/had the same problem with my FSA Platinum Pro BB, I had a standard Shimano tool, and it wouldn't go over the spacers, where as the Park Tool one does. eskimo
If you don't want to wait to borrow/ buy the correct tool (a park tool as said) then mole grips might work but create some damage along the way.
