Will_R Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 hey.Just wondering what experiences people have had with rear hope bulbs?I've owned one and it worked really well, but one of my mates always seemed to mess up, even after hope serviced it. guineasmithpig Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 they either live forever, or you shatter the ratchet ring every 3 rides. that seems to be the trend with users i know. i always ran xc/sport/mono. fewer engagements, fatter teeth, stronger ring (its always best to have a strong ring). only ever had one ratchet ring go on me, and that was just two sheared teeth, after nearly 2 years of trials use.
