Crank Preferences

So my current cranks are on the bent side now and I am thinking of getting new ones.

What is the people's take on TryAll vs CNCed Echos?

I've seen a few Echo/Zoo cranks which got twisted in a relatively short period, and I know that

TryAlls had a lot of issues a few years ago. (at least in US) I don't have the money to get the burns,

(although maybe used ones) but would like to get cranks that will remain straight for at least a year and a half.

I am about 150lbs and most of the crank damage is due to failed taps.

What about tensile's?? optimum steel cranks look on tarty bikes i no you live in the usa but its just an idea of what cranks are around that are strong and affordable. TARTY

Well even for burns I would have to get from tartybikes or chainreactioncycles. We don't have distributors

for those any more. I've seen a few snapped Tensiles. I would prefer the crank to twist before they snap :)

about try all cranks...

I use them...about 1.5 years...and they are in good condition! I`ve already changed freewheel and rockring once

and...they are lighter than any other...

So the cranks are straight and the pedal threads are in good shape as well?
