Watson©
I always say... a brake feels and works better with a booster, regardless if it has an intergrated booster or not... unless you like the spongy/flex feel, then in that case there is no need for a booster... But I like a nice solid firm brake to reasure me it WILL lock
Greetings
Doubt it, had a Ti and it was really stiff. The PR is almost the same so it probably won't need one.
Sam Oliver
No booster needed, the integrated booster works ace. I have a maggie on the rear ofmy 06 at the mo & it feels solid.
ogre
you might want one if your into crank flips, can't beat kicking and snapping your crossover right before a drop
Ducko
yes,the frame has the intergrated booster but that stops flex in the frame not the brake.
Sam Oliver
yes,the frame has the intergrated booster but that stops flex in the frame not the brake. If theres no flex in the frame & your mounts are tight, why will your brakes flex? Ducko
because a hs33 brake is hydralic pistons which put out alot of pressure on 4 little bolts, and you still get flex between the bolts and mountings even if the frame is solid. Greetings
he means that the calipers and 4-bolt mounts will bend outwards when braking but with a really stiff frame that doesn't happenmy adamant has a rock solid brake without any additional boosterthe monty will be fine, just ride it and if you feel the brake is too spongy just get a booster. Sam Oliver
can see what you mean, but don't have that problem when set up right
Ducko
its quiet hard not to set a hs33 up right
