jack_t-comp
i am thinking about getting rim jam v3 pads would you recomend these? if not what would be the best for tar? any coments will be apreciatedthank youjack
AdamR28
In all honesty, if you use tar then all brake pads will do the same job... right from standard Magura black pads through to Rock Pads. The tar prevents the brake pad from actually touching the rim, its a barrier, so the compound of the pad is completely insignificant.Having said all that though, some people will say some pads 'take tar' better than others..! ned1
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=41481check that topic it's a full topic about brake pads all the information you need will be in there. As in refernce to your question i would recomend zoo! pads, i've never used them myself although i have been told by munerous other riders that there the bee's knees on a clean rim with tar.thanks chris

flas12345
i think that zoo! pads by far are the best pads for tar. they are also the best pads on a grind but the only problem is they dont last two minutes.cheers lou.
