Nick Dale
Google "audacity" Good programe..just put the music in the program (drag and drop) export it as a mp3 :] also good for recording music from sites such as myspace :]There is a extra thing you need to download for it to be able to export as mp3's. It is on the site aswell it is called LAME_Mp3 i think...just move this to your c:/ (harddisk) then when you go to export as an mp3 locate the lame file and it will do it. After you have done the lame file for 1st time you don't have to do it again. Program is free and is perfectly good. :] Works on vista also
MadManMike
Use CDex from download.comIt's easier / quicker than Audacity - though I use Audacity for recording and sample trimming... for what you need CDex is a quicker option
