Keep trying and suddenly one day you will have noticed you are lunging alot further. It's all technique which i guess you know but there are a few different ways to do it. I guess it's all in the FAQ.

Ride the mod more rather than the bmx

Hello i ride a mod i find gapping really hard im stuck at about 2-3 foot i kick as har as i can but im not to sure what to do somene said drop the front wheel and tat helped what els can i do ? thanks

Hi there. Yeah you need to lower that front and also you need suck the bike up into you when you take off because this will give you more time in the air, therefore you will make the gap. i find if i go a little sideways before i take off it helps. But that me. Thats on flat to flat gaps. On drop gaps all you need to do is kick and suck up a little bit, i find it helps. But remember drops gaps are so much easyer than flat to flat gap so dont think just because you have done a big drop gap that you can do the same size gap on a flat to flat.

Good luck.

When I gap off of something from the very edge,my back wheel goes mad (like i'm trying to do a back flip) this causes me to land nearly past vertical nearly cracking my head open as I narrowly missed looping out,any ideas?

Hey,

When gapping, try not to

aim to much for distance.

Aim to get as high as possible.

Don't go to the edge of the thing

your gapping off. e.g. A Pallet.

This gives your more room for

a decent take off.

When you have kicked the crank

try and get your bum to touch the

back wheel, and tuck in as far as

possible. Extending the bike as far

away from you you can to gain more

distance on landing.

Go and practice

I find aiming roughly about a foot above where you want to land on flat to flat gaps helps as does slightly kicking the rear of the bike.

First loose the big writing.

But yes droping the front wheel does help do get more power and get right to the edge of the rock/wall i dont get to the edge of the rock/wall and when i watch my self on vids i realise i could get so much further if i do.All so if you can't make it to back wheel you can sort of pedle kick to your front tyre and then let your front tyre roll sorry if that doesnt explain it very well good luck .
