Has anyone got any idea what the difference is between the Hope Pro 2 Trials and the standard Hope Pro 2, I know the Trials one comes with a single speed kit and on CRC says the Pro 2 only has 3 pawls whereas the Pro 2 Trials Has 4 are they the only 2 differences...... also what about using one for trials, the Pro 2 that is not the Pro 2 Trials (might be able to get one cheap)

The Trials one will have more engagements, meaning if it does skip, it wont be as bad, as the next engagement will be closer than on the 'normal' one.

I'm pretty sure the hub body's are beefed up more too, if you're getting a brand new one, then the hub body will be stronger than the old ones. - A few people ripped their hubs apart because of the weak body's.

The standard Pro 2 doesn't have a warranty for Trials either (they can tell...).

I think it's only 24 engagements instead of the 48. It's basically a slightly newer version of the Hope XC.

Apparantly this was a dodgy batch of hubs. Something to do with grain in the aluminium IIRC. According to Hope, 3% of the Pro II's were warrantied. I don't know if that stat includes the non-trials hubs mind you. I'd sooner hear an actual number ;)
