eskimo
Comic Sans eh? hehLooks like everyone is yet again to lazy to help but would rather argue with one another.I wouldn't suggest changin any parts on you t-bird because it probably isn't worth it unless it is broke. That way you can save the money for your Zip. But if you need to buy a new freewheel or whatever then you could change it over at a later date to your Zip.I doubt you need another bb unless its snapped. But at your stage i doubt it.As for the freewheel. A ACS claws would be fine. And cranks a pair of Echo cold forged ones. The £50 ones are good enough. But if you do decide you should really need these parts then buy a half decent set-up which you use for your Zip as well.So ACS claws freewheel, Echo cranks and a FSA DH bb should be cool. Also try and get a ISIS taper.Follow...? hope so. Edited March 14, 2007 by eskimo
montyrider07
To be honast, If its not broke dont fix it. if you snap a freewheel then of course you need a new one, snap your bb, need a new one ect. If it isnt broken it doesnt need fixing in my books.

CrOcKeR
the t-bird has a 20inch rear wheel if i'm not mistaken so you would need to buy a new rear wheel and the other components i;m preety sure would just transfer across.
Mike W
Please explain how that is possible. Dan.............The outside teeth on cheaper freewheels such as diamondback/dicta freewheels can snap at the join, In my case causing me lots of pain and bits of freewheel all over the place Anyway if i was you id get the zip frame then update your parts around it as the zona is a good strong frame mike W Edited March 14, 2007 by t-comp-mike
montyrider07
Please explain how that is possible. Dan6061
You wont be able to use the 24t chainring on the Zip, as the chain will rub on the CNCing in the rear triangle. So yeah, you'd need to switch to a front freewheel. (18t front, 12t fixed cog rear)
