CurtisRider
is your rim really badly dished to the left? the caliper really shouldn't be close the spokes, what hub is it?
rudirudirudirudirudi
its a quando i think well its not buckled or any thing
moza
your wheel is not dished enough to clear that caliper, or the distance from flange to flange is to great. you may need to to get a new hub or get you wheel re dished. i would get it dished first and see how it works.moza
Luke Rainbird
Couple of pics might help too.I'm pretty sure I know what you mean, but if you could get pics of the caliper/spoke area, and one of the wheel front-on, so we can see the dish/centrality of the rim it would be nice

quick_spider
I've had problems in the past running AM Classic hubs with Hope discs - I ended up spacing the disk out from the hub with some washers (make sure they're the same thickness so you don't distort the disc)Jon
rudirudirudirudirudi
i think iv found the problem. i just need a new hub. this may sound stupid but what do you actually mean by dished? :$ and im not sure how to put a picture up. thanks
stug45
quando? its from halfords then?if ur using a brake with such power on a cheap hub then ur likely to rip the disc away from the hub.i reccomend getting a better hub and getting it built into the wheel
dave85
Quando, the same people who make high-end hubs for monty and megamo? They are famous for that problem, 2001 magura louises were one of the few brakes that fitted. You could probably get an avid mechanical in there too if you wanted. The try-all mod hub's are exactley the same, except the axel length and spacers are a little bigger than on the monty/qouando's.They also made hub's for mission bike's too, they made a 48 spoked wheel for their 'trials pro'
