Smoking Ban

If it's their local and the ban was placed on that local pub, surely if they had been going 20 odd years and smoked there all the time surely they could just not smoke for the hour or two they're in there for.

They're complete untcs if they can't last that long without needing to smoke.

thats the point - real locals dont just sit there for an hour or two, they sit there from the moment they get out of work till closing time. The sort of place I'm talking about survives on its locals and I just don't think it's fair to force them to enforce a ban that could well prevent them making enough money to remain open.

so many opinions.

right , here are some facts.

I smoke.

I enjoy it a lot.

I feel it's shitty to smoke in public places ( even pro smoking ones )

It's my right to smoke, and your right to not breathe my smoke.

thus. if i can smoke seperately, and you don't have to breathe it. we can still enjoy the same place.

i do disagree with smoke filled pubs/clubs even i dislike the smell on me after a night out.

however i do think that it should be the managers choice. to provide seperate indoor areas.

but, never going to happen. i can but dream...

It's a good thing, i hate being near a smoker while there puffing away, i cant stay near them. it's a dirty old habit. Good that the pubs have ban it, it's just as bad in restraunts aswell
