trials_pimp Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 I used to use Audacity to record sounds from my computer, ie, taking samples from Tv shows ect thats were on my computer and using them for my phone.but since I got my new computer I cant get it to work.Audacity wont give me the option to change my input device, so I cant record anything.The box is there, but the menu wont drop down to allow selection.Ive tried re-installing it and downloading a later version but no dice.SO what do I do, or what alteria programs can I use to record things off my computer?? paolo Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 I can't really help you out since I use cuebase, but I can tell you that getting anything you'd have to pay for is total BS for what you want to do... CBProductions Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 Creative do a basic wave recorder and editor , sonic foundary , just do google search .wav editors or such like. audition and cubase might be a little overkill for the stuff you want to do but im probably speaking out of my arse. I know windows can sometimes over-ride the driver setting in the program.I'm more of a Mac guy really for audio stuff (microsoft smells funny ).
