Simon
Right, this has been going on for months now, but some imageshack servers i can't reach at home, but when i go into work i can view them fine. Then when at home, can't see them again.I also VNC to home from work, so can confirm it isn't just the imageshack server in question at the time being down.Makes for f**king annoying viewing of threads when you see people reply to an image and you can't actually view the image.Anyone have this problem, heard of it before, or even better, know how to f**king fix it. Danny
Fine for me on Telewest/Virgin. Maybe your stuck on the old pile o shit NTL dns servers?
David
Have you tried manually configuring with different dns servers?
spode@thinkbikes
I was going to suggest the same thing.NTL uses a transparent proxy that can cause issues. So try configuring it with another proxy server. Or SSH in to an external box and set up a local SOCKS server. See if that fixes things. Tomm
I have a lot of trouble viewing images on image shack if they are posted on here. Normally they just refuse to load, but when you click on them (to go to the imageshack page) they do work. But yeah, I'm on NTL and it's a bit annoying. Hopefully that should work.
