Having Video Problems

yo

i have just got a new camera and when i upload my clips and pics it plays in quicktime player and quicktime wont work on movie maker i dont make many video's so there isnt any real point in me getting new movie making softwar so is there anyway i can transfer my clips from quicktime to media player

I use smart soft video converter, I downloaded the free trial version, it seems to work decent but it only converts around 70% of the clip so you just have to film for longer!

If this seems alrite to you, just type "smartsoftvideoconverter" into google n it will give you a link to where you can download the trial version! :)

converte it to something that isnt mp4 because thats the only format i think that windows movie maker doesnt accept its a pain really as mp4's are good because there a small file format

if mp4 is the only format that doesnt work then shouldnt quicktime player work?
