NVWOCI WVS
Bassically, my girlfriend says she wants to give trials a go... which i think is quite cool as there arent many girls in trials and i guess we should be encouraging it...so im gonna try to encourage her as much as possible! I'm riding stock now and i reckon a mod would probably be a good idea for her...so I'm gonna buy her a bike in the summer and i just wondered what would be a good bike for a complete begginer?I learnt on a Monty 220 x-hydra which i found really nice to start on but i cant find any 2nd hand which it will probably have to be as i'm only gonna be able to afford £200ish.something short will probably be good, shorter than a t-pro i reckon but i'm just not sure what yet!!anyway, cheers guyssamthe bike is finished! pics at the bottom of the page! Loose atleast £60 on a £200 bike.Just a thoughtPhil
Balman
can't really go rong with a t-pro or you can buy a 2nd hand 221pr for cheap or best of both second hand t-pro and a cheap pr and put them on that and sell t-pro pretty nice bike as well as being short and having a resonable gear good brakes decent wheels and not a bad little set up over all i think its your best bet as it's cheap yet desent if she starts geting good you can up grade easly if she desides not for her you can still get a fair bit of money back on the bike hope all works out will be good to get more girls on the scence let us no what u end up with geting her mate cheers Jack
Simpson
Right just a plan perhaps a stupid one but i always know someone whos out of riding so maybe ask if you can hire his bike and let her ride kerbs on it for a few weeks or something see if she prefers the mod or stock let her try a few rides and just see if she enjoys it or not before you plan to spend your hard earned doe... if shes not biting off your arm to let her at the bike ... i wouldnt bother

Simpson
There are probably some more local riders who'll let her have a go though, but thanks for the offer NO! i didnt mean id send you someones bike! i was just saying if my gf was interested in starting up i know of a few people who are out of riding and having a decent spec'ed bike lying arround and for 20quid or so would let me take it off them for a couple of weeks in good faith

Daffy04
If you check my selling thread i have a fully built cheap mod with hs33's full set up the rear wheel has a minor minor buckle but is not relli noticeable, short wheel base and its fairly high at the front so its easy to get on the back wheel. Have a look
