Phil H
Feel the need for some new bars as I don't trust my current ones atall. (onza ones as standard on T-Rex)Looking at the Echo Echo Tough Bars or the Zoo! Riser BarsThe Echo bars look a very similar shape and rise to my current bars and look like they have slighlty more rise than the Zoo! ones. Allthough the Zoo! bars are not exactly the same as my current ones im sure i'd adjust to them. Also I have been told that the Zoo! bars are a nicer shape and are more natural for the hand/wrist angle. At preety much the same price its just a case of choosing which ones.Any advice or thoughts?Secondly looking at new pads for rear. Currently have a medium to light grind, was looking at Koxx Browns due to the life span. Also the fact they work well in dry and wet on a medium grind. Any thoughts on this as I don't want to end up wasting £18.Cheers guys, any advice appreciated.Phil

Phil H
zoo! bars deforock pads/ any heatsink padThink the Heatsink Snowy pads would be ok? I think I remember hearing they have a soft as compound I think, maybe?Don't wanna be gyped out of £25 for a pair of heatsink pads. Was also thinking about Ali C's joy Pads as you can't really go wrong for £10. (if thats how much they still are) Phil

( plus 20mm of stem spacing)But i haven't been able to ride it yet due a small probelm woth snapping my rear mech hanger and smashing the mech it self. lol my bad i asure u. i'll let you know how i get on, cause the bars are only £30. i'm looking for new pads too btw let me on if you get some, running quite a light grind.cheers harry

Matthew62
There not shit in the wet! Granted there not as good as when dry, but i went out the other day and i still have some snowy's in on a light grind, and it was pouring with rain, and it was holding fine, the odd little slip, but noway near ''uttershit'' - must be your set-up! Abit confused.ah 2 - 21/2 months is abit cack. Reason I liked the look of the Koxx Browns was because of the life span.Phil
ManxTrialSpaz
Zoo Bars and Plazamatic CRMs. End of. The Echo Toughs feel absolutely wank when compared to Zoo Bars, they are just an unnatural shape and they feel quite tight and narrow. And for the pads, Plazmatic CRMs. My mate has gone through every other 'good' new pad and has always thought/said 'f**k. I should have stayed with the plazas.' Trust me, so far they have been unbeatable on my grind, which is sharp/medium -- although my version of a harsh grind you could shave with... Abit confused.ah 2 - 21/2 months is abit cack. Christophe'
For all you gays grinding, snowies work best on a smooth rim and will last ages.
Matthew_Gibson
I love my Zoo bars, they are very strong. Might sell mine, and get another pair, Just that mine look tatty! As for pads. Rock greens are good on a very light grind, as are reds. Ali C pads are dam good. But keep the rim smooth and get Zoos or Rock greens. Heatsinks are good too. Reds: on smooth and/or ground rims. Snowys on light and smooth rims. Koxx Greens on a medium. light grind. There all good. I'd say the best was Rock Greens on a light/very light grind. Zoo for smooth. I got a pair of hardly used Zoo u can have for £15? let me know!
