Right, if this is offensive or annoys paying advertisers then please close or tell me and i'll delete this post.

My latest online shop has just been launched - www.xcentre.co.uk

THIS SITE IS FOR ADULTS ONLY - Adult products are sold there.

Opinions please? Improvements? Was it easy to use?

If anyone does want to order anything for their partners it will be done discreetly (ie I won't start telling anyone on here what you ordered)

Anyway, thanks for your time.

Yes, it's for real.

I also run

sparecentre.co.uk

machinecenter.co.uk

In total I sell roughly 300,000 products running from secure IBM Domino Servers.

It's all legit, multi-thousand pound turnover per month.

so im guessing these are all dropshipping based? they buy the stuff from your site st your price, you pay trade price and they send the stuff directly to the customer?

Some of the product descriptions aren't done yet - i'm ploughing through manually adding them!

Yes it's all drop shipped Ben - it works great. All orders are automatically uploaded via FTP at the end of the day and processed by suppliers.

The cone vibrates, it's like a vibrator but it only teases outside, can be used pretty much anywhere so it's a cool toy - has been on TV loads actually... They call it a massager but we all know what it's really for.

Yea, thanks mate, dad just walked in on me looking at 'Randy Candice' sex doll...*sigh*...

Anyway, do your parents know what you do for a living sonny? I'd love to see your house, its like when you go to someone who sells crap on ebay, everythings all packaged and laying about...whereas Mike casually has a 9" rubber cock on his coffee table.

Gotta say though, anal dildos...they amaze me. How does anyone get that thing in there? I imagine its somewhere in the region of feeling as though you're giving birth to a camel...out of your anus.

What ever happened to whipping your cock out and nailing it...now its all plastic and batteries.

You was probably expecting this from me, but the designs aren't very good. :(

They all look like generic OSCommerce layouts with some colours changed and a different banner.

Don't get me wrong, fair play for doing it, and super congratulations are in order for actually making good turn over, although unsure of profit, but i think in this day and age a shop needs to be that tad different and stand out from others to properly make it, or have a few (even though i hate to use this term) "Web 2.0" feature-esque features.

Fair play though and best of luck.

The most important thing is you need to is make customers 100% sure it will be discreet. Defiantly at least a write-up in the FAQ section is needed, but better yet, add a link next to 'home' and 'delivery information' solely about how discreet the service is, explain everything in full detail, not just what would be on the packaging, but what would happen if there was a problem, and how they would be contacted in a discreet way, what would show up on their credit card bill and everything else I haven’t thought of.

At the end of every product listing there's the "www.xcentre.com" (which if kept may need tweaking because it's white on white and doesn't look right) and "The biggest online....etc etc", I don't really see why that needs to be there at all, it would be much better if the last product on the list was at the very bottom.

Apart from those 2 points, it's all looking good. :)

So many questions:

Firstly, sorry no info being given on how I did anything - i'd be shooting myself in the foot.

Simon - I know the design is fairly basic - at the end of the day I wanted to make something plain and easy for people that aren't too good on computers. There's nothing worse than a page with so much stuff on you don't know where to click. The design is being updated everyday, I tweak things - running 4 sites I just don't get enough hours in the day :S

Anzo - yes they know mate, they also are very open minded and know i'm old enough to sell what I like as long as it's legal. Despite popular belief I only have 2 sex toys in my house, both of which bought for the missus before I started my business (Should have held out 6 months eh?)

JT - All emails are sent from Spare Centre's emails account so that's discreet - on the invoices / statements it has "Products / Services - WSWorld Ltd". With regards to your second point, before the image was there it looked like a word document - so so boring. And it's supposed to be white on white so it doesn't get in your face too much yet isn't too bland (ie a blank white sheet)

Oh and Simon - Have you looked at any other adult stores? You think my design is bad! Seriously, type sex toys or adult products into google and look at some of the trash that comes up I certainly would NEVER shop from some of those places. Really bad...

If anyone does want something cheap, I will knock off some £'s for you. PM me with what you want and i'll work out a discount.

Don't be worried about me saying something like "ROFL Ben Cox just asked for a butt plug!" because i'm not immature and at the end of the day, you're business and business is what the site is there for.

Cheers for the feedback y'all.

Mike

Temporarily yes.

Basically it swells the tissue inside the penis, meaning more blood can get in - the more blood there is the bigger and harder it is. Obviously once the swelling goes down you get your old member back - so yes, in the short term, ie just before you have sex, it will work.

It's not permanent though.

That bit made me laugh loads for some reason, probably my immaturity!
