Dan6061
Not sure if they'll replace them, as they're 'wear and tear' items.Get rid of the gears, get a new mech hanger, a rohloff tensioner.

Onza Kieron
Lol, I find that a tad cheeky calling up and asking for a new mech when I am 99% sure it was your fault they got broke/damaged but hey, something for free/cheap is never bad. Phil H
That is the deal with the T-REX and its a preety good one getting half price stuff. But if its anything vital like cranks would be an absolute joke to get them again. shoooooooooooooooooooooocking as. For stuff like mechs should be cool and useful. But deifnetly is the deal even if you break it from riding, eg: Did a drop and BB snapped - give me a new one half price Phil

Simon
You phoned up for a half price replacement on a mech and hanger? You f**king what.If you would of done that and got me on the other end of the phone, i would laughed at you, hung up the phone, told me mates, who would of also laughed at you, then joined in laughing at you with them.I can't believe anyone would actually even comprehend asking that, let alone actually doing it. Ha ha, thats what i was thinking. And they only give you half the rrp of the product you bought, so if you broke their brand of mech hanger then they'll give you a half price replacement. I don't htink onza make rear mechs though so it won't be covered by the half price replacement. And if your still able to ride a ddg hub you won't be breaking a t-rex anytime soon.... don't you know? their built like tanks ... and if you did break it, they'd give you half the original rrp of the t-rex off the limey 2 not half the price of a limey 2. Mike Poyzer @ Onza
There have been one or two discussions on various postings about our half price policy recently. We do have written details of the policy and I will post them tomorrow, probably on the News section under the Tensile thread. It only applies to Onza or Tensile products and not to other branded parts, ie Shimano or Magura so I am not sure about the derailleur. We do now have an Onza branded rear derailleur though. Mike Poyzer @ Onza
The rear derailleur was indeed an Onza and is being replaced for half price. Mech hangers are not in fact covered by the policy as they are considered a sub component of the frame in the same way that wheel axles are not covered as they are sub components of the hub. Of course consumable items like brake pads are also not covered. I have posted the full details of the half price warranty in the news section. Although the standard length of time for the policy is 2 years, where an item has a longer written warranty, like the Tensile headset, the half price policy extends with it.
