RobinJI
oh and is the guy up there telling me that having a 116mm axle isnt any stronger than a 135mm axle. Its the same diameter but shorter thus less chance of it snapping/cracking....i arent going to show you calculations. Not atall, I know the 116mm axle will be stronger, but I'd say the 116mm spacing makes the frame weaker if anything, and will make the wheel weaker in most cases. How did king manage that? the spacing on my revolver is waaay wider than my mates echo 135mm hub! Same goes for any other 135mm singlespeed hub I've used.Ah well, I just think that having a wider base for the larger wheel makes alot of sense. Edited March 7, 2007 by Dont you Just Hate it When... ben_travis
I see where your coming from. For people who dont ever want to bother with gears (me) then it makes perfect sense to have a mod-stock. I have a kingz tensioner on mine, purely because i cannot get the tension right with snail cams. them things are useless.....maybe horizontal dropouts are not always the best. but for me it seems they are, i cant tell you why, i just find it alot easier. and gives me the option for tensionerless in the future.either way, the frame rides the same as a 135mm frame, and should be lighter im a weight weenie
