RR_Trials
I might be buying something from somebody from trials forum and i have never done this before. Its a frame. I really don't wont to get scammed I'm so in love with this frame. The guy who seems VERY nice, he also says he rides with someone that i can get references from. Jonny Jonesi think the name was. Anyway i also have his mobile number and i will ask for his house number tomorrow.... But yeah, with all this information i still don't wont to get scammed, when i send the money, witch i would like to do through paypal etc how can i make it so that i don't loose money if i don't receive the item or is the item is faulty, like recorded delivery.Anyway i would just like a step by step on what to do, this will help me and maybe others that are buying from trials forum and it may help cut down on people loosing money, as i have read a few topics were people are owed items and people mention 'recorded delivery' etcPlease help, Rorz! Walleee
john jonesi!yeh check their referances if they have a post at all if not send johny an e-mail he sems like a nice guy cant see him wanting someone to get bummed if he did......Pay by paypal, even if it's not on ebay you are protected ito a degree in that the entire transaction is recorded, so either party can prove whatever they need to. Also make sure the two of you make a descision on how to post. I think that's the most important thing here. Don't have a frame sent 2nd class. Get it sent special delivery if possible or at least some sort of recorded service so you know you have to sign for it. If your sending money make sure it's also sent special delivery so you can track it and know when it's been signed for. then they can't say the money hasnt arrived....... JT!
If it is jonny jones, he's a very well respected member of the forum, and he's not a scammer. Also, he'll insure the frame when posting i would have thought, so he'll get money if it gets lost, and would give u a refund.

RR_Trials
Hey, I have spoken to Jonny Jones he defiantly vouches for him as he says he is a very sound lad. I will go through all the precautions. Just another quick question though. My dad doesn't want to send his credit card details over to paypal again after trouble in the past. Is there anyway i an send some sort of postal order to them and have the same affect.Cheers, Rorz!
Jonny Jones
Hi mate, you could just send him a cheque. Phil Nobes is his name, some people on here may know him, rider from Bentley, near Farnham, Surrey.Jonny.
Joe_Elding
ooo I've met Phil, yeh hes a safe guy. I'll vouch for him also.
poopipe
the few times I've bought stuff off here I've always handed the money over by direct bank transfer then the other chap's sent the item once the cash shows up in their account. I don't think theres much opportunity for getting your money back if you get f**ked but you do at least get their full name should you need it and there's no chance of "the cheque never arrived guv, honest" excuse

RR_Trials
Who is it best to send from royal mail or parcel force, if parcel force, were do you take the parcel to be sent, like you would go to royal mail post office place to send from them is it the same for parcel force?Cheers, Rorz! Simpson
As far as im aware whenever ive posted letters they go via royal mail, but if you send a package through the post office it goes via pasel force just like there service for packages as it cant fit in a posties letter bag basically i think....
