Krisboats
I would measure it and get a pic of the tube thickness but i've already sent it offAnd yes a had just done a 9 ft drop, got a lovly flat spot in my wheel. and did a bunny hop off a curblanded both wheels flat and next thing i knew was a snap ? i've got to say it did have a big dent before it snapped.shaun H, i'd like to see yours. second onza i've snapped in half. but the limey is so nice i'm gettin a new oneHa ha, i was sooo close, plain drop not a drop gap and going down a kurb rather than up it. I'm pleased i was able to guess there was a drop followed by a curb that led to the demise of your frame
oakley
you wouldn'tof even got a half price replacement if you wanted one i dont think, because you void the warranty by stripping it! and i have already seen this before
RobinJI
yeah... my mate had a t.pro that snapped in exactly the same place as this!apparently its where they weld that gusset on under the frame...the weld weakens it and there is a stiff part next to the thinner part of metal if you see what i mean?...so it's a definite weak point!samAnd that my friends is why most compnys now yse open ended gussets! Shaun H
yeah, but you were trying to snap it, i remember you even saying soNo shit, Sherlock. you wouldn'tof even got a half price replacement if you wanted one i dont think, because you void the warranty by stripping it! and i have already seen this before I didn't even try anyway, this was done last year, I loved the geometry but there's no way I'd want another one cos it'd probably die like that again.Don't understand how nitromorsing affects the half price warranty anywho. Shaun H
Remember reading it can weaken welds. I'm pretty sure it was nitromorse anyway.Yeah you can see it's snapped clean through the weld there It also cracked around the top of the seat tube just like Stan Shaw's did. Wether that was before or after the snap I'll never know unfortunately.Anyway pics:LMAO 1mm...
