the_ferret Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 hiya folks...basically as it says i just need to know what disk to go for on the rear of a monty... im 12 and half stone so needs to be strong and my current avid just isnt up to the job at all! the disk bites real nice but just seems to lack power when i need it. so id appreciate any opinons on a new one as i havent got a clue been off the scene for a year! or if anyone has tips to sort the one im using nowthanks oggy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Worked straight out of the box.Just set the brake up correctly in the first place and don't re bleed it every week and you'll never have a problem.Avids aren't everything, just easier to repair and setup if you don't understand disc brakes that well.Rob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
