Captain Scarlet
Nice lid, it covers quite a considerable amount of head at the back too.At the end of the day mate its up to you, your the one who is going to be wearing it, and so long as it protects you. harmertrials
personally I would buy a giro as I have done. Extremely lightweight ( You don't notice the difference between having it on or off), reasonably priced if you buy one from www.chainreactioncycles.com because they are currently having a sale. I bought a 2005 giro e2 for £59.99 from them and its rrp is £115 bargain matey, comfy too.
ftw
Hi,I would say that piss pots (aka skin lids.) are a tad too heavy for Trials biking. As now I can say because I have used both types of helmets.1. Piss pots2.Giro etc... Like some people say the piss pots cover up most of your head, However they are a little too heavy for my likings.I rode with a TSG helmet which was a piss pot, Which cost me £20 But these are quite heavy. Also after breaking that, I then bought a Giro Hex, good for the money only £50 in my local bike shop. Also after breaking that one, I then bought a Giro Xen. These are a little too much but much stronger than the Hex.Costing me £90 for the Xen. Fallen off a few times with this and wacked my head and it's still in good nikk, and working fine.Hope I have helpedThanks Ross. P.S.The helmet does look rather nice you have pointed out though.
