Clawz114
Anyone else seen the Cobra inner tubes that BMX company Flybikes make. Link below... It says avalible by the end of 2005 but i havnt seen them anywhere, looks like a good idea. Hopefully the likes of maxxis, tioga etc will take on the idea.http://www.empire.co.za/jpg/news/cobratubebig.jpgIf that meant nothing to you its basically an inner tube which isnt a full circle, its just 1 big length of tube that you thread through your frame and put in the tyre meaning you wont been to take your wheel out and reset your tension again. ilikeriding
Awesome, know if they do a 26" version?
F-Stop Junkie
They're as old as the hills. Not generally used though, as you may not get quite as even a distribution of air all around the tyre, and a bit of an odd spot where the two ends join. Also it would be more difficult to fit to ensure it doesn't snag or something as it's inflated. There's a reason why no-one really sells them anymore

King C
Also I think the fact that people like running different pressures for personal preference is why they're not used in trials.
Captain Scarlet
Yea I saw these in RideBMX mag a while back, I guess they are okay as a temporary solution if you get a puncture when your out and about, but not as a full time tube. mettam1988
they work really well on a bmx as you tend to run them at a really high pressure meaning that you dont suffer from any flat spots or anything because the high pressure evens them out. i think they would be great as a temporary measure, something to get you home (just cut out old tube and replace with a cobra). but if run at low pressures they might not be so evenlyinflated, also they are designed for small volume tyres (which almost all bmx tyres are) so again might not be great on the back of a mod.has anyone tried it though? ive never thought of doing it despite running them in my bmx.
