ManxTrialSpaz
Blair, why not see if highland will re-tap the bb threads on the t-pro frame sitting in your shed?Has he ripped the bb out sideways? I got a free replacement when I did that, even if it did take my good intentioned very but slow bikeshop 3 months to sort out.

aener
I don't understand this.I got one of the £80 frames from SuperCycles' eBay shop. How come these are half the price of the ones on supercycles.co.uk?I've been riding mine for a while - and it's completely solid - so they're not disfunctional, as far as I know. Can anyone explain this?Confuddled

Correct me if I'm wrong though.Edit:The bottom bracket-shell-thread is cut slightly bigger than a standard BB shell to take an oversize square taper bottom bracket. This is included with the frame as shown in the pictures. The square taper is the same as that used in complete T-Pro bikes, so there shouldn't be any problem fitting square taper compatible trials cranks. Fixed Pants™
I've got one of the 80 quid ones from eBay supercycles.Works fine, you've got nothing to worry about. The BB thread is cut 1/2mm too big if i remember rightly and you can order replacement BBs from SuperCycles (phone them to find out more/ to order one)
Tom Perkins
The BB thread is cut 1/2mm too big if i remember rightly and you can order replacement BBs from SuperCycles (phone them to find out more/ to order one)True. I have one of the t-pros off ebay and it rides just the same as any other t-pro. supercycles do have spare bbs that you can buy so it really is a bargain!Tom
Ewannnn
Yes but it means that you cant get any of the good bottom brackets with oversized bb
