rickycoleman
Not bad for a first bike! hurry up and build it ....
Danny Kearns
Very nice. Just remember. Dont run a Deng free hub. Run a Chris king bmx hub or a fixed hub at the back and a freewheel up front because the Deng free hubs explode. But that looks very very very nice so far. Keep up the good work.Dan...........................
nafan
First one - you lucky git lolTreat that frame with respect otherwise I won't be happy, more pics once its built up I hope Nathan
fyfey
haha Yeah I heard the deng freehubs were a bit dodgy. I'll probably get a deng fixed hub (can't afford a King). And a Tensile freewheel or something like that.
The Duck
Deng freehubs explode!? I was just about to get one! Please explain! Sorry off topic...That is mint for a first bike mate! Might be getting the same sort of stuff soon (except not as a first bike...)
fyfey
Just that they're not very strong/reliable I think. Plus it's a lot easier to replace a front freewheel if it breaks than replace the rear hub!And front freewheels tend to have a lot more engagment points compared to the deng freehubs! Matthew_Gibson
Look rather nice matey! are they Heatsink pads or Adamant? Personally I'd save up and get an Avid front disk, but if yors happy with a happy go for it, the phrase, "if it aint broke don't fix it comes to mind"! fyfey
They're Heatsinks. The front is crap at the moment in the wet. I can't get a front disc yet, I don't have a disc hub Maybe I'll try a light grind.
Ash-Kennard
They're Heatsinks. The front is crap at the moment in the wet. I can't get a front disc yet, I don't have a disc hub Maybe I'll try a light grind.the snowys go awesome on a grind on the front. a mate of mine has them and they are incredible, quite loud though bike looks alright

fyfey
Yeah, I put 20mm of spacing in as well as a HiFi stem I think I'll be taking out the spacer/s and see how it goes. It feels pretty high at the moment
