hugh_b
I oredered some hog rims from supercycles last week, i got them sent to my uni address so i havent seen them yet but when looking on the tartybikes site today they have just put up the new pics of the "new rims", so i rang someone at my uni address and got them to open the box. Both front and back now have the hog logo instead of having the holes at the back. Anyone know if the plain and simple drilled rear hog rim is still avalable? cheers-Hugh
The Duck
Tarty still have them... Can't be sure if their going to stop stocking them though...Edit: You could just drill out the hogs yourself? 20mm drill bits aren't hard to come-by. The Duck
but someone who can centre a drill in the middle of a hog is.... Pretty skilful. But wouldn't it be simple if you went at it from the underside? Because there double walled and already have a 20mm hole bellow the hog shape. RobinJI
a 20mm whole saw is a lot better idea and makes a much cleaner rounder whole. Normal drill bits always leave a slightly triangular whole and are a lot harder work than just slotting a whole saw through the existing whole in the 1st wall then turning it on and waiting a minute.
