will_zooboy! JT!
I think i'd prefer my hose to burst than get a puncture, because i have to de-link my chain to get mt back wheel off, where a fooked hose is easier to get at and repair. But then again, you could get injured with a burst hose, no back brake = no sensation from the neck down.
will_zooboy!
yer good point and i would rather have a hose burstso i could still ride home Cheers, Will Edited February 11, 2007 by will_zooboy!
liam_thornton
I would rather get a puncture because I normally walk home anyway because i'm so nakered after a days ride I just can't be bothered to ride home, and I don't have a bleeding kit, I don't no how to bleed a brake and we don't have a decent bike shop in witney that could bleed them for me. Leezaah
Puncture is less trouble off course. Always bring your puncture fix kit with you when going on a trials session far away from home, always be prepared!worse if the hose brake down... lawrence osborn
A hose burst i'd prefer because its eaier to make another hose fitting than fixing a punture
Adamant A1 rider
I would also say a hose burst cus you can still ride the bike home instead of pushing it.
teeth
id rather have a puncher any day because if your hose brakes in a mid air jump or sum thing who says your going to be ridding home you might not have to ride home cus you will be in the back of and ambulance if you land it wrong so yer just take a puncher repair kit
selby1
i'd prefere it if none of them to things happen but i'd much rather have a puncture than a hose bursting,in my case fixing a puncture would be much faster and easier. cheers mark. Simpson
WHAT! obiously a puncture! you dont have to take the wheel off if its a lil one... a tube is only a few quid and with hosing you have to bother with barbs and olives and re bleeds and setting up your pads right... risking rounding off your caliper bolts waiting for delivery of hosing... finding out you dont have any olives you pull being shit even after the re - bleed.....a puncture you just need a tube... or fix kit! 10-20 min job easy!EDIT and hoses can go quite slowly so you end up with a wank brake and risk yourself.... a tube you only risk your rim Edited February 11, 2007 by Simpson
Joe Sheehan!
Definitely rather have a puncture, as hoses take much longer and can cost more to fix. Just keep a puncture repair kit and a pump in your bag and you're away! Joe
BrAd-Tpro
I would much rather get a puncture, purely becuase i have to take my brake to the nearest bike shop to get the hose replaced.. I carry around with me a spare Innertube anyway..

Punctures are the easiest thing to fix on a bike. pour the glue on, blow on it, put a patch on, hold it down... 2 minutes later its fixed. Some people like they say dont even have a bleed kit and they would still rather a puncture wtf? Puncture ***! powerz
I would definatly prefer to have a puncture, reason's being has already been said:when hose bursts it could be painfulif you have no spare hose then you need to buy some and wait for it to be deliveredalso for me i strugle like hell to fit the hoseand bleeding the brake then setting it up again.where as a puncture is so much easyer to repair and can be alot less painful than when a hose burst whilst doing a drop or riding rocks anything realy. Mod Man Leo
puncture ***!!!lol nah its just i take a spare inertube with me when i ride and i don't take a spare hs33.Leo
ManxTrialSpaz
Well for me I'd deffo prefer the puncture cus my backwheel's the easiest thing in the world to take off and put back on. But it can get shite when the f**kin tyre doesn't come off or go back on and I end up having to find the most suitable metal object in my garage to prise the f**ker off. Then end up worrying about folding my rim or making my grind crap where the aforementioned metal object was rubbing on it and making it smoother
adam trials
Puncture because they take longer to repair and are more complcated.Split hoses are less fiddly.Adam.

trialsboy_06
what really annoys me the most is when my hose burst because they take longer to fix. where as a puncture can be fix in seconds.I also hate to ride in the rain. mettam1988
punctures because they happen way too often, especially pinch flats. hose burst only happen once maybe twice a year to me. punctures are just annoying because they dont even stop you riding it just means u have to spend time faffing about fixing it, grrr!
