hugh_b Posted February 9, 2007 Report Share Posted February 9, 2007 Hey guys, i'm building up an adamant mod stock for some uci 26 action, i kow the only gearing you can run without a half link thingy is 18t front, 15t rear. Whats this gearing like? Is it super hard, whats it like sompared to the normal 18t-12t mod set up? hugh_b Posted February 9, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2007 ok cool, thanks for the feedback guys, when they say half link i guess they mean the extra link they always give you in that seperate packet with every chain? RobinJI Posted February 9, 2007 Report Share Posted February 9, 2007 Nah, a half link is a solid link where the plates bend in halfway though it, so its a female at one end and male at the other. It replaces a pair of links with one link. I've got one in my chain. There a lot tougher than the split links that come with the chains.
