powerz
Right for the last 2 hours i have been trying to bleed my rear 04 maggie using this guideBleeding Maguras in a bucket or a bath.1. Fill the bucket or the bath full of water. 2. Take the brake off of your bike and put it in the bucket/bath. 3. Undo both bleed bolts, the one on the lever and the one on the slave. (Underwater) 4. Pump the brake and you should see some air coming out of the slave. 5. Do this until no more air comes out. 6. Do up both of the bleed bolts. (Again, underwater) 7. Take the brake out and it should be air free. But when i pull the lever the plunger in the lever gets stuck and doesnt spring back meaning the lever just flops about.i have tried, before i pull the lever cover the bleed hole on the caliperthen remove my finger from the bleed hole and let go of lever but it still gets stuck.Any help would be very grately apreciated, im ment to be riding tomorow, and i know there are many of these topics but im in desperate need of help. THANKSand my hands are all rinkly now and freezing. oops i have posted in wrong place can this be moved to members chat, thanks. Ryan Blackwell
Try leaving one bleed bolt on and putting the other underwater then pump the leaver then screw back on underwater then do the other bleed bolt the same way. (dont no if you understand )Thats the way i do it and it works great.Cheers.

brisa man
cheers for your help i have bled it now, i took the lever apart and cleaned it all & put some wd40 round the plunger and it stoped getting stuck, so i have bled it but i still have the problem i had before i bled it, which is on oneside the pad slowly goes of the rim and not quickly, it's very slow at returning.if one of the slaves is returning slow take it off make sure you take your pads off and do it away from your rim and hold the slave that is not going slow and pull the lever then the slow one should come out and then just spray a load of wd40 or something on it until it frees itself off a bit. the same thing happened to mine, i just bought a new slave in the end now it works pimp. hope this helps. cheers.
