mbuk
I use a 2007 hope mono trial, 180mm rotor on my stock, the bite on them is brilliant, and i think they are the best trials specific brake on the market today, because of their oversized piston for a on/off feel. Meller
I Use the Avid BB7 with 185 mm rotor and nokon cable and Avid Single Digit Ultimate lever, it is the nicest setup I tried so far, and before that I had Hope Mono Trial, Magura Louise, Avid juicy and magura hs 33 so I have tried some different but the BB7 is by far most the best one. Krisboats
I used to use a louise, then "upgraded" to an avid bb7. I prefer the bb7 because its so much easier to fix. Admittedly the lever feel isn't as nice as with a hydraulic, but the actual brake is great..... just don't run fibrax pads, they have no bite what so ever.
